Our Practice

Family Practice is a Board Certified specialty of medicine. We care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical problems, from routine physicals and colds all the way to heart attacks and strokes. High blood pressure, lung problems, gastrointestinal problems, diabetes, are some of the more typical illnesses we treat. We perform annual wellness exam, and also do GYN exams. Family practitioners stress preventative medicine and encourage a partnership between doctor and patient. The scope of family practice encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system, and every disease entity.

THE PRACTICE

Appointments

Office visits are available by appointment by calling (303) 979-1559. Since we understand your time is a valuable as ours, we make every effort to stay on schedule. If you will be late, please call and let us know. If you need to cancel an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours advance notice.

Referrals

If you belong to a PPO or HMO, please contact our office prior to seeing a specialist or proceeding with outpatient testing. As a general rule of thumb, new non-emergent problems will require an office visit with us before a referral can be made. Emergency visits DO NOT require referrals as per Colorado law.

Lab tests, BP Checks, Injections and Test Results

Test results will be called or mailed to you as soon as they are available. This is usually within several days, but in some cases may be up to a week or two. Please do not worry if you do not hear from us right away, but certainly give our office a call if you have not heard anything after you expected your results.

If you require lab tests, blood pressure checks, or injections it is best to call to set up a time with the nurse.

Telephone calls

Please call our office with any questions or concerns. Our office nurses will return these calls within a few hours and will consult with the doctor as necessary. If you feel your call is an emergency, let someone know!
